Webinar on Ecosystem Restoration🌱🌱

A webinar on Ecosystem Restoration was conducted on 5 th June. The program coordinators are              Mrs Bini. T.R (Asst Prof.in Social Science Education)& Mrs.Sumam. S (Asst.Prof.in Commerce Education). The theme was presented by                  Shri. Jaya Kumar. B (HSST Botany, Govt H. S. S, Omelloor).

The webinar was very informative. He talk about different types of Ecosystem, National parks, Wildlife sanctuaries, Biosphere Reserves etc. He gives a detailed description about Agasthyaarkooda. He shows the pictures of divergent species of plants, fruits, medicinal plants in Agasthyaarkooda. He talks about the adverse effects of melting of ice in polar regions. He presented slides showing how the activities of humans adversely affect the ecosystem.
